For the third year in a row the APT Online has ripped up the record books, topping all previous online tour records; The APT Online 2025 is the largest and richest iteration of the popular poker festival to have ever played out online. The measure of success is always in the numbers, and by whichever metric you measure it, November’s APTO 2025 absolutely crushed it.
The Asian Poker Tour’s fourth foray into the virtual poker world with official tour sponsor Natural8 has once again proved to be a rip-roaring success, breaking multiple tour records – both online and live. The most notable record broken came in the APT Online Main Event, $3M GTD which proved to be the largest and richest tournament in APT history, drawing its largest-ever field, generating its richest-ever prize pool, and awarding the APT’s biggest-ever Main Event first place prize – at least until the conclusion of the APT Championship Main Event on Friday, November 28.
Including the Main Event, an unprecedented 18 out of the 20 Trophy Events (90%) played broke the existing APT Online records, with Events #1-3, #6, #8-#10, #12-#14, and #16-#20 setting new records field size, prize pool and first place prize for the respective tournaments, while the Event #5: Vietnam National Cup [Bounty] set a new record for prize pool and top prize, and the Event #15: Taiwan National Cup set a new record for entries for the event.
