Multi-Million Dollar Main Crowns Richest Champion in APTO History
Representing nearly a third (31.6%) of the entire Trophy Event prize purse, the $800 Event #20: APT Online Main Event was the undisputed centerpiece of the festival. Backed by a historic $5,000,000 guarantee—a massive 66.7% increase over the 2025 edition—the tournament drew 7,173 entries, easily topping the guarantee with a $5,451,480 prize pool. In addition to setting a new benchmark for the series—accounting for close to 11 percent (10.81%) of the overall total APTO 2026 festival prize money—the tournament awarded the highest winner's prize in APTO history.
Austria’s “Elgringo123” triumphed over the massive field to secure the title, the exclusive Black Lion APT Online Main Event Trophy, and a mammoth $729,242 top prize – the third largest APT top prize of all time, just behind the APT Championship 2025 Main Event, outstripping the previous APTO record of $601,336 set by Peru’s “Oscar Cueva” in 2025 by over 21.2%.
The 19,000-Player Mini Main Phenomenon
The $80 Event #14: Mini Main Event $1M GTD attracted an astounding 19,229 entries—a 26.9% jump over the 15,150 entries recorded in 2025. Belarus’s “Dmitry Chertkov” captured the title and a life-changing $169,488 top prize from the $1,415,250 prize pool – the third richest prize pool of the series. The single largest tournament field ever assembled in APT history accounted for over a quarter (27.41%) of the total Trophy Event entries, and close to three percent (2.68%) of the total series entries.
Mystery Bounty Sets $2.14M High-Water Mark
Mystery bounty excitement reached fever pitch in Event #8: Mystery Bounty Hunter $2M GTD, attracting 9,321 entries and generating a record $2,143,830 prize pool – the second largest of the festival. The UAE’s “Valen_tina” outlasted the field to take home the official top prize of $156,443, setting an APTO record for the mystery bounty format.
Superstar Prestige & Austrian Dominance
While it drew the smallest field of the 20 Trophy Events with a $5,000 buy-in, Event #2: Superstar Challenge generated the fifth richest prize pool of the festival, and awarded the second-largest top prize with Austria’s “Avdi_2000” taking down the event for $205,728, topping a record 246-player high-roller field and claiming the lion’s share of the record $1,168,500 prize pool.
Austria put together an unmatched showing throughout the festival, capturing 6 out of the 20 championship titles. In addition to “Avdi_2000”’s Superstar success:
“milka29” conquered the record 842-entry field in Event #7: APT Online High Roller for $119,682.
“Dawid Smolka” triumphed in Event #13: Bounty Hunters High Roller for $46,298 plus $59,414.11 in bounties ($105,712.11 total).

“Jacopo Olivieri” earned $31,900 in Event #17: China Zodiac Classic.
