APT Online 2025 Recap: Events #9-#14

Running from 26th October to 17th November, and boasting $25 million in series prize pool guarantees, the Asian Poker Tour Online 2025 has concluded a third thrilling weekend of tournament action.

In addition to the crowning of six new champion, close to 75 percent of the scheduled 20 Trophy Events are now consigned to the tour record books with ten of them setting new field size and prize pool records for the festival. Events #9-#13 played out from Tuesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 9, and Event #14: Mystery Bounty Hunter – 100K Top Bounty playing out from Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 9 with all six events setting new tour records for entries and prize money.

In addition to action in the Event #9: Philippines National Cup [Deepstack Bounty], the Event #10: King of the Jungle Bounty 6-Max, the Event #11: Korea National Cup, and the Event #12: Turbo Ultra Stack, the first of the festival’s three exclusive APT Online Lion Trophies was awarded in the record-breaking Event #13: APT Online High Roller, and the Mystery Bounty Hunter also set new highs for the festival, generating the largest prize pool played for so far. The seventh out of the scheduled 20 Trophy Events to set a new APT Online record for entries, prize pool and top prize, the PHP 5,000 (USD 85.15) buy-in Event #9: Philippines National Cup played out Tuesday, November 4, and saw a sizable 19 percent increase in entries and prize money played for over the 2024 edition of the tournament, drawing the second largest field of the five Trophy Event bounty tournaments concluded so far. 

An impressive 2,873 entries generated a PHP 13,215,800 (USD 225,065) prize pool, with 336 players cashing for a share of the largest prize pool this tournament has ever awarded, with the action playing out over nine and a half hours of game time. 

It was the Ukraine-based “Yaroslav Prodan” who claimed the accolades, a PHP 663,569.11 (USD 11,297.58) top prize—a new record for the event—and their maiden APT Online Title and coveted Lion Trophy plus a further PHP 756,509.22 (USD 12,881.53) in bounties after cutting a deal with heads-up opponent “DoutzenFloes”, with the Netherlands-based player earning PHP 663,567.98 (USD 11,297.56) plus an additional PHP 137,099.33 (USD 2,334.80) in bounties for their runner-up finish. 

The Japan-based “mesism” rounded out the winner’s podium, earning PHP 527,269.80 (USD 8,979.01) for third place and a further PHP 60,734.38 (USD 1,034.31) in bounties, with the final table paying out as follows:

Event #10: King of the Jungle Bounty 6-Max

The USD 525 buy-in Event #10: King of the Jungle Bounty 6-Max played out on Thursday, November 6, and was another record-breaker, attracting over 23 percent (23.55%) more entries and generating over 23 percent more prize money than its 2024 predecessor. The 939 entries and USD 469,500 prize pool generated set a record for the tournament, with 106 players making the paying positions. 

It was “pehmoaino” who claimed the trophy and largest first place prize this event has ever awarded; the Finland-based player earned a USD 30,271.91 top prize and additional USD 28,741.30 in bounty payouts after cutting a deal with heads-up opponent “Believ3”, with the Austrian-based player taking USD 30,271.21 for second place, plus a further USD 12,259.79 in bounties.

The Austria-based “OmgItsAA-” rounded out the top three paying positions, taking USD 22,941.29, plus an additional USD 6,340.82 in bounties, with the final table paying out as follows:

Event #11: Korea National Cup

Just like both the 2025 live event counterparts that played out at the record-breaking APT festivals in Incheon and Jeju, the KRW 300,000 (USD 209.83) buy-in Event #11: Korea National Cup drew its largest-ever field and generated its richest-ever prize pool when it played out on Saturday, November 8.

The 1,565-entry field was a 34 percent increase in entries over the 2024 edition of the tournament, with the KRW 431,940,000 (USD 302,000) prize pool generated representing a 19 percent increase in prize money played for with 225 players making the paying positions.

The action played out over close to nine hours of game time, with the Vietnam-based “Runnerx22” earning a KRW 38,102,481 (USD 26,630) top prize and the title and trophy after overcoming “whitesocks” heads-up, with the Singapore-based player banking KRW 33,262,741 (USD 23,245) for second place. The Vietnam-based “ItsMytime” collected KRW 25,732,491 (USD 17,980) for third, with the final table paying out as follows:

Event #12: Turbo Ultra Stack

APT Online 2025 #12: Turbo Ultra Stack

Playing out on Sunday, November 9, players in the Event #12: Turbo Ultra Stack joined the record-breaking club with the tournament seeing a sizable 43 percent increase in entries and prize money played for over its 2024 predecessor, making this the largest and richest edition of the tournament to run online.

A total 2,712 entries coughed up the USD 125 buy-in and duked it out at the virtual felt over seven hours of game time, with the China-based “No1YT” taking the title, trophy, and a USD 36,523.38 top prize—the largest this event has ever awarded—after triumphing over “Poli Poker” heads-up, with the Taiwan-based player earning USD 28,161.89 for their runner-up finish.

It was another Taiwan-based player rounding out the top three, with “kin05311” banking USD 21,715.79 for third place. A total of 390 players made the paying positions with the final table paying as follows:

Event #13: APT Online High Roller [2-Day Event]

APT Online 2025 #13: APT Online High Roller [2-Day Event]

It took just over 26 hours of virtual poker action spread over two days but the first of the festival’s three exclusive APT Online Lion Trophies has been claimed, with the Brazil-based “JotaLeclerc” defeating a record field to tame the Rose Gold Lion in the Event #13: APT Online High Roller.

The 636 total entries who anted up the USD 1,500 buy-in was a solid 33 percent increase in both entries and prize money played for when compared to the 2024 edition of the tournament, setting a record for the event along with the USD 906,300 prize pool generated, making this the fourth richest tournament of the festival to have played out so far.

A total of 87 players made the money, with “JotaLeclerc” earning the lion’s share and taking a USD 134,966.71 top prize—also a new record for the event—after defeating “Green HI” heads-up for the title, with the Japanese-based player earning a USD 104,073.30 payout for second place.

The Ukraine-based “Igor Popyk” took USD 80,251.47 for third place. Other notables to cash but come up short of the final table including former WSOP Main Event champion Espen Jorstad (26th for USD 5,811.22), China’s Wei Zhou (32nd for USD 4,842.65), and the UK’s Tom Middleton (74th for USD 3,363.02).

Event #14: Mystery Bounty Hunter - $100K Top Bounty 

APT Online 2025 #14: Mystery Bounty Hunter - $100K Top Bounty [Day 2]

Playing out from Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 9 the USD 1.5 million guaranteed Event #14: Mystery Bounty Hunter - $100K Top Bounty proved to be the second-largest field of the festival so far, generating the largest prize pool of the festival to date – a 7 percent increase over its 2024 predecessor with close to a 5 percent increase in entries. 

Of course, that makes it another record-breaker, both in terms of entries and prize pool, with a total of 9,667 entries ponying up the USD 215 buy-in over the 44 Day 1 flights played, generating a massive USD 1,912,132.6 prize pool. Just 893 players made it through to Day 2 and the paying positions to guarantee themselves a payout of at least USD 229.55. 

It was “Oshri Suissa” who came and conquered, claiming the richest top prize this tournament has ever awarded. The Israel-based player took a USD 137,611.94 first place prize, plus an additional USD 6,650 in mystery bounty payouts after overcoming “fever-meter” heads-up for the title.

However, the Canada-based “fever-meter” will not be too disappointed with the USD 103,160.45 on offer for second, especially when paired with the USD 118,080 they earned in bounty payouts after pulling the top USD 100K bounty ticket.

The Poland-based “Anton Danilov” rounded out the podium, earning USD 77,362.32 for third place, plus a further USD 6,370 in bounties, with the final table paying out as follows:
