Poker tournaments can require a lot of time commitment - it isn't uncommon for a poker tournament to last for hours. Wouldn't it be fun to be able to jump straight to the fun part, without the pre-bubble game? If your answer is yes, then you'll probably be glad to know that there actually is a way - the new Multi Phase Flip & Go allows you to do just that.
Flip & Go is the newest, fastest way to skip all the boring parts and get right into the red hot action. Featuring flip bonuses, an all-in shootout and so much more, this latest tournament format will leave you wanting more!
With the new Multi-Phase Flip & Go Tournaments, you’ll be able to accumulate your chips and have an extra edge for a larger piece of the prize.
The Flip & Go tournaments are split into 2 stages, the Flip and the Go. The Go stage will happen every hour while the Flip stage will have multiple phases which run every 5 to 10 minutes.
You can participate in more than one Flip and if you qualify to the target Go stage multiple times, you’ll be able to accumulate your chips for a better chance to run deep.
The first part of the Multi Phase Flip & Go resembles Pineapple poker.
The Flip Stage: Players will be dealt 3 hole cards and will have 30 seconds to discard one card. If not selected, the lowest card will be removed automatically. Each table will then play down to a winner in an all-in shootout fashion and the winner will proceed to the Go Stage and be ITM (in the money)
The Go Stage: The winner from each table in all the phases of the Flip Stage will be registered to the Go Stage where all players are now ITM. All players will bring forward their chips from the Flip Stage and players who qualified through more than one Flip Stage will have their chips accumulated. In this stage, the tournament will run as a regular tournament format.
Flip & Go Double Board: Double the excitement with Flip & Go Double Board, where Run it Twice will be activated for the Flip Stage and will be deactivated once the table has reached Heads Up (2 players remaining).
Boost your stack when you qualify for the Flip Bonus. If you get dealt a great starting hand, you’ll be rewarded with additional stacks.
Note: A stack is considered a single buy-in of 1,000 chips and not the player's total starting stack from multiple buy-ins/entries.
There will be multiple phases for the Flip Stage with a Go Stage happening every hour. Flip stages will be available ONE hour before the respective Go Stage with multiple phases happening every 10 minutes and every 5 minutes closer to the start time of the next round, the Go stage.

Q: How many stacks can I buy in Flip & Go?
A: You can choose the amount of stacks from as little as one stack to a maximum of 5. Each stack costs one buy-in - so if you buy 3 stacks it will cost you tournament buy-ins. Example: If the buy-in is $3 and you buy 3 stacks it will cost you $9.
Q: How many chips are in a “Stack” in Flip & Go?
A: Each stack has 1,000 chips.
Q: What happens if I don’t discard a card within 30 seconds?
A: Two rules apply in this instance
1. The lowest card is dropped by default e.g AK2 (the 2 will be discarded)
2. In the case of a pocket-pair being dealt the non pair card will be discarded e.g TT3 (the 3 will be discarded)
Q: What happens once I qualify for the Go Stage (ITM)?
A: If you’ve qualified for a Go Stage, you’ll be automatically registered with your chip stack. The table will open when the Go Stage starts. The Go Stage will continue as a regular tournament format.
Q: What is an All-in Shootout?
A: An all-in shootout is an all-in tournament where all players will automatically go all-in on every hand until there is one player remaining at the table. Players will not have the option to take any other action.
Q: Can I turn off Run It Twice for Flip & Go?
A: No. The Run it Twice feature for Flip & Go will be activated for all hands in the Flip Stage until the table reaches Heads Up (2 players remaining).
