How is Ocean KO different from a regular knockout tournament?
Instead of a fixed amount, your knockout reward is decided by the knocked-out player's bounty value multiplied by a random chance (multiplier) from their Tier. Each multiplier has its own chance of being hit.
How are knockout rewards paid out?
Half (50%) of your reward goes straight into your cash wallet, and the other half (50%) is added to your own bounty. For example, if you win a $100 bounty, $50 goes to your wallet and $50 is added to your bounty.
Does having a higher Character Level help me win bigger knockouts?
No. The bounty depends on the eliminated opponent’s Character Value and Character Level, not your own. Your Character Level does not increase the bounty you can win from the same opponent.
What determines when a character evolves?
A character evolves when its Character Value reaches the threshold for a higher Character Level. After each knockout, 50% of the bounty is added to the winning player’s Character Value. A single knockout may trigger multiple level increases, but does not always result in evolution.
How can I check another player's bounty?
Click on a player's Tier icon to see their current bounty value, plus the lowest and highest possible reward you can win by knocking them out.
What happens if I knock out multiple players at the same time?
A random reward is rolled separately for each player you eliminate, based on their own bounty and Tier. Half of the total combined reward is paid to you right away, and the other half is added to your bounty.
What happens to my own bounty if I win the tournament?
Even if you win the tournament, your final payout is still decided by a random multiplier based on your own bounty and Tier, rather than just getting your total accumulated bounty directly.
Are bounty rewards separate from regular tournament prizes?
Yes. Money you win from knockouts is completely separate from your final tournament placement prize. You can see both amounts clearly on the final results screen.

- Prize pools are estimates. The actual amount paid out might be higher or lower than the collected bounty pool because of random multipliers.
- Character Levels apply exclusively to individual tournaments and do not carry over between events.
- A player’s Character Level is determined solely by their Character Value, independent of their chip stack.
- Players automatically advance to higher Character Levels when their Character Value meets the required threshold. A single knockout may trigger advancement through multiple levels, though a knockout does not guarantee a level increase.
- The actual bounty awarded is calculated by multiplying the eliminated player’s Character Value by a randomly selected multiplier associated with their current Character Level.
- Multipliers may fall below 1x. In such instances, the resulting bounty prize will be lower than the eliminated player’s displayed bounty value.
- A player’s displayed Character Value does not represent a guaranteed cash payout amount.
- When multiple players simultaneously eliminate the same opponent in a split pot, the bounty prize is divided equally among the winning players. Each player's individual share is then split 50% to cash and 50% to their Bounty Value.
