Punnat Punsri

Team Hot superstar Punnat Punsri will be looking to extend his lead at the top of Thailand’s all-time money list after making the final table of the Triton London $250k NLH Luxon Invitational event. Punnat is currently sitting third in chips, only behind American poker pro Bryn Kenney and UK investment manager and poker enthusiast Talal Shakerchi.

Final Table Prospects

While it’s an invitational event, the field has not been an easy one for Punnat to navigate, as there have been a number of high-profile tournament crushers to compete with. However, Punnat has proved why he’s such a highly-rated talent and now finds himself at the final table 3rd in chips.

He will be happy with his seating position too, as he is to the direct left of Nick Petrangelo and also to the left of 2nd place stack Bryn Kenney. Having position on both of arguably the best players in the field will be a huge advantage, and we’re sure that Punnat will be able to take advantage of that as long as the cards fall his way.

Each player at the final table has guaranteed themselves at least $ 680,000, but they will all be desperately competing for the over $6.8 million first-place prize. Punnat’s biggest live cash also came at a Triton event back in September for $2.6 million, and we’re sure he’d love to best that achievement almost one year later. As long as he finishes third or higher in this event, barring any deals, he’ll do just that.

Punnat has already had an impressive 2023, and we can’t wait to see what he’ll do at this final table - so make sure to check in again when the dust has settled to find out how it all played out.
